This is your prep window. Lock in your closing dates, confirm financing, and start calling movers. Get quotes from at least three companies serving Cass County ND and Clay County MN. The best book up fast—especially in spring and summer.
Declutter Like You Mean It
Go room by room. Keep what you love, donate what you don’t, and ditch the rest. A lean move means less chaos on the other end—and less money spent hauling things you’ll never use again.
Days 44–30: Paperwork & Prepping
Label Everything Like a Pro
Color-code boxes by room. Use a moving app or spreadsheet to track contents. A good system now saves hours of unpacking later.
Lock In Your Utilities
Call early for start and stop dates on electric, gas, internet, and water. Don’t forget waste pickup, mail forwarding, and subscriptions. In Fargo–Moorhead, some utilities require two weeks’ notice for transfers.
