Longfellow Neighborhood

The Longfellow neighborhood, which became part of Fargo in the 1960s and 1970s, is a residential area named after Longfellow Elementary, located in the northeast corner of the neighborhood. This area is rich in natural amenities, offering riverfront access through the multi-purpose trail that runs along the Red River. Residents also enjoy nearby parks, including North Oaks, Holm, and Longfellow parks. The northern edge of the neighborhood is home to Edgewood Golf Course and the former Cardinal Muench Seminary, adding to the neighborhood’s charm and providing a peaceful, scenic environment for residents.
