Washington Neighborhood

Located on Fargo’s north side, the Washington neighborhood is known for its abundance of churches, parks, and educational facilities, including Washington Elementary, Ben Franklin Middle School, and North High School. The neighborhood also offers recreational amenities such as an outdoor public pool at North High School and El Zagel public golf course in the southeast corner. The VA Medical Center, situated on Elm Street and 21st Avenue North, serves as another key landmark in the area. Primarily a single-family neighborhood, Washington also features a mix of duplexes, condominiums, and apartment buildings throughout.
