According to several recent surveys, Americans overwhelmingly favor small businesses over large corporations.

Gallup In a bombshell July 2023 poll, Gallup discovered that small businesses are the most trusted institutions in Americans’ daily lives. Back in July 2015, the same poll showed public confidence in small businesses at a solid 67%, while trust in big business lagged far behind at a measly 21%.

Pew Research Center The Pew Research Center threw its hat into the ring in April 2024 with a survey that found a whopping 86% of U.S. adults believe small businesses have a positive impact on the country. That’s a higher approval rating than even the military and churches can boast! The survey also revealed bipartisan support, with 88% of Democrats and 87% of Republicans rallying behind small businesses.
